This scroll was drawn in 1925. Three painters drew each of Matsu, Take and Ume (=Shochikubai). It is re-mounted so that there is no spots or stains on the mounting. The painting part is foxed as it was drawn years ago. Some spots and stains are recognized on it. Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad. The motifs are drawn in the Japanese traditional method "Suiboku". Drawn by Japanese brush with only black Sumi ink. This is very tasteful scroll. |
