| Nanga style Painter. Born in Osaka. His given name is Chuji. His younger brothers are Mizuta Kenzan and Kaname Juhei. Studied painting under Himeshima Chikugai. Good at painting Sansui landscape view pictures. Established the Japan Nanga Institute with Kohno Shuson, Tajika Chikuson and Yamada Kaido. Judge of both the Teiten Exhibition and the Shin-Bunten Exhibition. |
